Re-read. This time on audiobook. Amazingly done.

This is getting so good!!!! The world is so interesting and I already love the characters.

Now it’s getting somewhere. Interesting concept of showing how our wishes are not always thought through and we don’t think of the consequences they might have.

Writing is beautiful but so far I’m not too impressed by the story. Hopefully more things will start happening. This feels like a romance novel with the one thing that is paranormal. Fingers crossed I’ll like this more soon.

Wow this is so good! Not only the fantasy world is interesting but the characters are awesome and there is some humor too. Plus some good topics for discussion as well! Loving this!

I am dnf’ing this book at chapter 24. Nothing really is happening and the wiring is too elongated and I could be reading something way better instead. Sorry Eliot. If this was a bit of faster pace and shorter I would have liked it. But I really don’t care about any of these characters.

Very unique of how the story is told. It's like the author is sitting with you, telling you the story of her family. I am enjoying that writing style a lot!

I love Maisie! So many feels and so much development already. Can't wait to keep finding more and more about her story!

Very well written. Interesting ideas in this book. And it's the slow settle disturbing sort of a book that when you sit back and think about it more, makes you realize how f*** up this world and what is happening is. I love that the author doesn't spell things out for us in the book. A lot of great things for discussing in this one!

I’m not quite sure if I want to keep reading this. I love the writing style but the things that keep happening are a bit ridiculous and it’s dragging right now. Might quit it which is sad because I’m half way there and it had so much potential.

Still enjoying it and find it intriguing but it's starting to drag a little bit. Starting to feel that this book is a bit too long. Need the pacing to pick up!

on chapter 3. Received a NetGalley for an honest review. I have been waiting for Therese to write another novel for ages! I loved "Z", so I am so excited to be reading this one before it's published!

I'm not a huge fan of romantic novels but this writing style is amazing and the depth of the characters and complexity of their lives is very interesting and super relatable. Reads super fast as well and isn't cheesy at all. Really enjoying it so far!

The world was a bit confusing at first but now that I understand it more it is getting super good! Lots of mysterious things going on in the background as well. Very interesting!

I’m sad to say that I’m almost done with this book and things feel like they are a bit dragging at this point. So many different twists that at the end don’t seem so realistic to me. I hope it will be a good ending. There is something lacking in here that I can’t figure out what it is.

Read 132 pages in pretty much one sitting. I cannot stop reading this book. The writing is awesome and the story just sucks you in and makes you want to see what happens with the characters right away. Very intruding and heart wrenching.

Been in a weird slump and I think this was a bad book to try and get out of it since it is a slow moving book. However, the writing style is really well done and the feeling of the places the author describes I can feel it all. Had to return the book to the library so now I have to wait for it again or just get my own copy. Only have 100 more pages to go! haha
