already this book is delighting me and making me laugh out loud. i love funny middle-grade fiction.

this memoir was written by a coworker. borrowed it from another coworker today.

i'm going to give up on this book halfway through. ml'e's writing is too preachy for me, and i'm tired of hearing about what great christian artists bach and dostoyevsky are, and she doesn't really seem to have a point to make or a story to tell, just a lot of thoughts she's built her personal spirituality on that someone asked her to write down. it's not engaging me.
