I hate this..... so much. I have never read something so slow for fear of what fresh horrors this author has wrought. I really think Laurie Forest was tone deaf to the fandom writing this and tbh also turned her back on what was becoming a lovely liberal feminist novel through the main character and instead decided to lovingly return to the dark ages. 1/10
