Still enjoying it. What greedy people, but fun to watch them haggle.

I started reading this and realized how much I like this author. So I just added all her novels to my to read list.

I'm not sure why I never read this before. We have a complete set of Norton's Mark Twain collection, and I had read Huck Finn, which is right next to it in our bookcase.

Actually rereading this oldie.

Finished part 1 about the Siege of Boston.
Parts 2 and 3 are about the same length. Remainder of the book is endnotes and index.

Several chapters with geographic themes slowed me down a bit. Now I'm back on track as we move back into more spiritual topic.

The cover is different, but I think this is the version I'm reading. I have read it several times before, but never recorded it on GR.

On to part 4 of 4.

I just finished chapter 22. It was a difficult one for me to read, about a challenging time in the lives of the Nelson family. Over the course of a couple of years, both his daughter Emily and his wife Dantzel were treated for cancer. The daughter, sadly, did not survive, but his wife came though the treatment successfully.

Finished part 2. A lot shorter than part 1, and instead of talking about archaeologists, it dealt with some of the Pharaohs.

Looking for something light to read, I saw this book on my poetry shelf and wondered why I still own it. So I started rereading it, and quickly concluded that I no longer like it as well as I once did. I will finish reading it, if only to review some of the sample poems included in the book. Then I will change the rating - still debating between 2 or 3 stars. And finally, I will sell or give it away.

I just finished part 1 of 4 parts. Pretty good progress, considering the number of books I am seriously trying to read right now.

I wasn't sure what to read next, then someone liked my review of this book. I was looking at my own review and decided that yes, I really want to reread this book.

Actually, I started reading this last year sometime. I don't read it every day, and when I do read it, I rarely read more than ten pages or so.

I'll read this one first, it's for book club.

I saw this on display at the library. It had been on my to-read list previously. It seems I had at some point taken it off my list, but now I have it, and will no doubt enjoy reading it.

I went to the library today, and I thought this was the next one. I was wrong, but I'm going to read it now anyway.

The page count wouldn't be meaningful, because I read the last story first. It was sweet. And written for junior high reading level. When I finish, the book goes back to the Little Free Library.

I have been reading this for a couple of days. Mostly enjoyable, except for the story of the two eunuchs.

This book is wearing out. I may have to buy a new copy.
By the way, I am going to have to figure out how NOT to count this one towards my 2017 reading goal.

On to the last of the 5 major sections. We have reached the part where the revolution is setting up barricades and battles are taking place.

The first of my Christmas list bounty. I liked the author's book Galileo's Daughter.

I am not enjoying this - I'll just put it back on the shelf.
