Suzanne F. is 20% done with Time for mapping: Cartographic temporalities
Hello All! I'm going to be leaving Goodreads fairly soon and heading to the greener pastures called The StoryGraph. My account here will exist till February 7th of this year. Ever since Goodreads was acquired by those-who-shall-not-be-named, I've been leery of using this site...but I also love what it is capable of. Now that StoryGraph has appeared, I have no reason to remain. Message me if you want my new handle :)

Suzanne F. is on page 15 of 366 of Strange Economics: Economic Speculative Fiction (Strange Concepts: Big Ideas Explored Through Speculative Fiction)
The decision to pick up this book was sparked by my interest in speculative design, and the relationship it has to other speculative creative projects. I'm excited. Also, my partner thinks I should read/watch more science fiction...and this was my creative response to his challenge!

Suzanne F. is 65% done with The Great Leveler: Violence and the History of Inequality from the Stone Age to the Twenty-First Century (The Princeton Economic History of the Western World)
On occasion, I do regret not having a firmer grasp on statistics in the social sciences via formal education. Reading/re-reading this book is one of those times.

Suzanne F. is 12% done with A World of Three Zeros: The New Economics of Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment, and Zero Net Carbon Emissions
Transforming the world's workers into the world's entrepreneurs? All of them? Not sure I buy that quite yet, but I'll give Yunus a chance. Writing is a smidgen simplistic.
