So far this is a well written book with fantastic world building. I see the aspects of it that triggered so many conversations about the Gardenian's parallels to White supremacy, and passive racism in the voice of the narrator, but it is in no way glorifying it and I think the protagonist seems to be resistant to her teachings of supremacy and appears to be evolving with each chapter. Keeping an open mind.
