I did it I finished the entire Selection series !!!! Reading goal accomplished :)

I DID IT, I FINISHED MY FIRST TANDEM READ AND ACCOMPLISHED MY MAIN READING GOAL OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lyra used a pearl to help get Meike out of the cavern which in turn pissed off the Daemones.
Hades lets them take him instead with Lyra begging them not to.

Still in Dionysus labor
Lyra has teamed up with Zai, Mike, Trinica and Amir
Dex really hates Lyra
The vodka being the cure to the poison ivy is an interesting touch.

Lyra as met Cerberus and Charon "The Ferryman" who is very handsome
She has made an official alliance with Zai (who is allergic to everything on Earth)
Zai will now be living in Hades home
Dionysus's labor has begun (#3)
Dex has managed to convince some of the champions that Lyra is a threat, cheater and a liar and if she wins Hades will be the worst king of the gods. Dex wants to eliminate her from the Crucible.

Second Crucible completed Zai Aridam (Hermes champion) is the winner (with help from Lyra)
Amir is the only one hurt (injurers fatal?) Everyone makes it out.
Hades is not happy with Lyra teaming up with Zai Aridam
Still curious about Zai's health.

Isabel (Poseidon's champion) has perished honorably and will have a spot Elysium.

The chapters lengths are inserting, I feel like I have read a lot well at the same time only having read a page or two.
They have kissed and as I mentally predicated it was amazing and full of all the emotions one would expect.
The tattoos are interesting and I can't wait to see how they help.

I have read eight chapters so far and wow! I am very much hooked . Lyra so far is an interesting character.
I like how Owen choses to write Persephone as deceased.
I am also curious about this Aridam character.

The ominous music was correct, the holidays have a way of destroying things.
Xander/Alex is in to deep with sceevy manger (but I have a feeling Declan will come to the rescue)

Louise and Siaka first platonic get-together was amazing and sounds like a cool place to visit. Siaka did a great job!
Louise choosing stand-up paddle boarding on Seine before sunrise is sweet and definitely one to beat and its only there seconded platonic get-together.

Louis and Siaka have decided they are going Mohave a platonic relationship (yeah right)
Arthur and Georgia are an interesting couple. Happy to know that Georgia has a successful party planning business.

I am so happy that we get Louise story and how is life is turning out after the Final Battle. Also loving the fact is falling hard for an amazing guy (Siaka).

I stopped reading mid chapter due to lack of attention span. 6 days later I now finish said chapter (35)
I will start chapter 36 soon which is the beginning of part 2 in the book. Kate has just been killed by Violet and you can guess what that means!

Vincent and Kate took their relationship to the next step
Jules is staying in New York after tell Vincent that he is love with Kate but will not in any circumstances come between them.
Theo Gold has given some shocking news to Vincent about Jean-Baptiste.
Back to Paris they all go!

The re-embodiment ceremony was a success (the second time around) and Vincent has returned to his full self!!!!
Unfortunately the celebration is short lived "because back in Paris, war has begun." pg.221 spoken by Vincent.
