Attempting to try to read this from a purely anthropological POV to just observe how bad it actually is.

I’m alternating between the ebook and the audiobook and maaaaan the narrator is really not doing it for me, Mad Rogan’s voice is just…not. He sounds like an old white crabby man from the south. I would try the dramatized version someday maybe.

First impressions…this is not like the Star Wars books I grew up reading. It is most definitely YA. And the first person POV threw me off.

I have some small complaints about this book but it is 100x better than The Night We Met. And unfortunately because I read this series out of order I already know what's going to happen in the book BUT I'm still going to listen to it.

THIS BOOK One of the best fantasy books (and I'm going to say fantasy and not romantasy because there is no spice -yet- and SO MUCH TENSION) that I've read all year.

I get it now. I am invested.

Why does this book feel like soooooo much? I've also switched to the audiobook when I can, helping a little. There is a lot to take in but I'm going to push through and persevere.

This is my favorite book of this series so far. I think we can all find a little of ourselves in Lore

Husband wanted to try reading Ursula K Le Guin so we're both listening to the first Earthsea book together! It's a sharp departure from the normal fantasy I read.

Already I'm put off by a travel vlogger making "content"

Oh these poor naive young babies who think they can have it all. I enjoyed the first half of the book but after the tour started and neither one was being reasonable and practical, it's like "UGGGGH" y'all need therapy
