It's always a nice surprise when you pick up a book and it's in second-person.

I usually don't continue series this fast but none of the books I've started have sucked me in like Fourth Wing did and I just want that fast pace, action packed, fantasy again.

Reading this made me nauseous and I had to keep pausing. Still need to know what happens next.

I don't know if it's the ebook formatting or if this book is just a slow pace but I feel like this is taking me FOREVER to read.

I think I'm going to have to dnf this one. I'm struggling to be invested when there has been a big time jump, including when the MCs met and apparently have been "hating" each other.

Chloe Liese writing can be a bit heavy handed sometimes and I think I'm currently reading the poetic descriptions and eco and social messaging a bit cringe.
