Reading for Rosie’s bedtime stories in the coming weeks

This is just such a good time oh my god. Celebrity drama, divorce, bitter feelings, money-obsessed business decisions, and politics have been a part of Hollywood from the very beginning. This book is already such a blast & anyone who excitedly tunes in to the Oscars year after year NEEDS to read this. Not as long as the page count would have you think because it's a history book with hella references at the end.

This is such a blast, wow. Indiana Jones meets HBO's Gilded Age in a turn-of-the-century high society/family drama/suspense/archaeological mystery/rich people cult/witty romance? Like how do all of these genres work together so seamlessly? Deeply difficult to put down in order to get some sleep, even when recovering from an unbelievably nasty case of food poisoning. 5/5 for now, let's hope it continues this way!!
