A lot of characters. You don’t really get to develop a relationship with them because there are and the book is told in so many different perspective. A little predictable, but I did really like it. I give it a solid four stars.

Super predictable

I like it but the sex scenes are a little raunchy for me. Leave this out or make it so the sex scenes weren’t a dozen pages I wouldn’t mind.

But I do like the book - though Lark is extremely unlikable.

I am really frustrated with this book. I am half way through and I feel like I am not sure where this book is going. There is so much going on and it is just confusing. I do understand what’s going, I think, but not sure WHAT is going on, if that makes sense….?

I’m listening to the book and I am 6:15 into it and still have 7:50 left. It’s long. Like SUPER long and I feel like a lot of it could have been cut out so far. I really like her books but so far definitely not my favorite.

I am 2/3 of the way through this book and I’m so confused

Started out so good but it’s really dragging on and there is still so much left.

I am so confused. I am a bit more than halfway through and it seems like so much of this book is filler.

It seems like there is so much information that the reader is getting but isn’t very important. And I understand what’s what a lot of books are this is overloaded with just seems like we’re halfway through the book and I don’t really know much of anything with any importance.

It’s just soooooooo long.

I am listening to the audiobook, and listening at 1.25 speed but it just seems like its dragging on forever.

I can’t STAND Quincy, the protagonist.

She annoys me so much that it makes the book really hard to get through. Right when I feel like I’m starting to like her a little more she does something incredibly dumb and it’s right back to disliking her.

I can’t be alone on this opinion?

So I’m about 30% of the way through the book, maybe a little more, I’m a little confused as to where it’s going.

There’s no mystery yet and it’s more about just about a woman who wants to move and also feels unsupported by her husband.

It’s weird because it hasn’t been bad, but I’m not sure where it’s going and confused with the mystery/suspense/thriller part of the book is going to start.

Was good but I listened to it and I think it would have been a lot better if I’d of read it.

I just can’t get into this book. It’s a great storyline, likable & unlikable characters, but I just can’t seem to really get into it.

I’m about 3/4 of the way through this book and it’s definitely slow. I’m kind of waiting to see what the big plot twist will be, because it doesn’t really seem like it’s going anywhere

I am nearly done with this book. I am listening to the audio version and it’s really good. The story about these sisters and their relationship with their dad is so interesting - and a huge part of the book. There are a lot of small twists and turns so far but I am so excited that finish and find out what REALLY happens.

I am confused how people have loved this book. I am 62% though the audiobook and nothing has happened yet....like...NOTHING. Maybe it gets better? But if I’d of known it was this slow I definitely wouldn’t have started it. Hopefully it gets better.

I am a little over half done (listening to the audio book) and I think that I already know what is happened. We’ll see, but it does seem a bit predictable. Not a bad book though -but not as good as the reviews are either, it’s not a book that I am unable to put

This book just got really weird. I'm not sure if I love it or just think it's okay. I do love how you get to know the characters in the book though.

Had to put this down for a bit. It hadn't held my interest, which is crazy cause all his other books I adored, adobo will come back to it soon.

This book started out so good but it is fallen completely flat

I'm not going to say the book is bad but it still hasn't recalled gotten deep into the plot or what the book is supposed to be about.

I'm over a fourth of the way done with the book and we still haven't gotten to what the book is supposed to be based on - the disappearance of Emily and what happens to the family and how it affects the people around her. It's definitely not a quick read but I hope that it starts to pick up.

I'm confused by this book. I don't want to give anything away but it's weird. There isn't a lot of dialogue and I'm wondering how this whole book can continue on if this is the whole plot.

It started out so good but now it has really slowed down. Hopefully it picks up soon.

I was recommended this book by a coworker who has a very different taste in books than most people, so I was surprised when he told me I should read this because of who The author is. Hopefully it is as good as he says it is.

This books is pretty amazing so far. It is this girl/womans life told through other peoples eyes and how the stuff she does really affects them...I have wanted to read it for a while but kept pushing it back...I'm glad I am finally reading it
