I love historical novels and very much enjoyed this one. My only complaint was it just seemed to end abruptly; Even though it is a lengthy book, a lot more could have been said.

I liked the perspective of the lead character and how the story was given. It became very repetitious after a while and I feel that the story could have been ended easily about 100 pages before it was.

This is an eye opening book in several ways. Hearing so graphically that many people don't have water and must devote all their time trying to obtain it, and that entire populations subsist on dirty water with the inherent disease is heart wrenching.
Learning about the magnitude of money it takes to solve the water crisis is one more shock. Seeing how the author changes his life to serve the world is amazing.

Slow and repetitious. Didn't finish it.

Just ok in my opinion. It didn't hold my interest.

I had not read this author's other books in this series. This one was not making any sense to me, so I will not finish it. Perhaps later I will decide to read the series.
