I’ve binged this book all day

Just when I thought the story was about to end, more started unraveling! This is definitely a good one.

A story about some tenants finding out their building is weird that is waaay more interesting than anything I’ve read in the past 6 months, lol.

It’s looking like the “supervillain” keyword in the title was just a marketing ploy, not a hint of evil in the main character. Looking like a bust.

Book: Snobbish, snobbish, snobbish.
Me: A letter!?
Book: Yes.
Me: Ahh, English, thank you…
[Letter]
Book: End of letter… Snobbish, snobbish, snobbish.

I’m very close to giving up on this one.

So far nothing actionable. Just talking very surface level about how some math thing affected some real world scenario, but I’m not getting any insights on how that could be aplicable to my life or work. The only value I’m getting I’m out of this book is discovering the quotes the author is borrowing from somewhere else.

“Before they hated me because I was dumb, dull and ignorant, now they hate me because I’m smart and I make them feel inferior”.

Reminds me of a vow I made a few years ago to never use the word “hate”. Because hate is never about just one thing, hate is a skill. Anyone capable of hating, will always find something to hate.

“Sharing a room with a cadaver is only mildly different from being in a room alone. They are the same sort of company as people across from you on the subway and airport lounges, there but not there”.

Her sense of humor is starting to show later in the book.
