Okay, things have definitely picked up now! I'm enjoying Lizzy and Will's chemistry.

Man, this has gotten intense.

I'm not a big fan of the narrator Revelle, but I find it interesting that the story is exploring the role of an interpreter in various judicial settings and how critical it is that the interpreter be unbiased in their translation.

Things starting to pick up now...

Something about this story is kinda addictive.

"Zenia has stolen something from him, the one thing he always kept safe before, from all women, even from Roz. Call it his soul. She slipped it out of his breast pocket...and looked at it, and bit it to see if it was genuine, and sneered at it for being so small after all, and then tossed it away, because she's the kind of woman who wants what she doesn't have and gets what she wants and then despises what she gets."

All three of the main characters in this story seem to be terrible judges of character when it comes to picking their romantic partners.
