I LOVED the writing and descriptive way that Leisel and Max describe the world around them. I liked the story....the book thief and word story was excellent but I didn't love angel of death narrative....just me.
A different glimpse at the war in Nazi Germany...sad I hadn't thought as much about the children who attempted normal day to day lives.

I just finished The Goldfinch: A Novel (Pulitzer Prize for Fiction). One of the best books I've read in a long time...twists and turns so I couldn't put it down and the writing was so colorful and expressive...like a painting!?
