Wanted to form my own opinion on this book. Only on chap 3 and already having a bad time.
- SLY doesn't know the difference between an em vs an en dash
- Prosody sucks
- Awkward info-dumps
- Weird orientalism by calling a character "Far Eastern"
- Worldbuilding where I somehow know less than I did before reading a sentence
- Repeats of phrases only a few lines apart
- Descriptive metaphors that don't quite make sense
