This current chapter deals with Black Sabbath and the late, great Ozzy Osborne. Very poignant.

I'm used to the early 20th-century printing of this edition I'm reading. It's pretty interesting.

Been reading this for a while. Getting a bit lost in the middle of it here, but I'm still enjoying it so far.

I done a lot more reading than I thought I'd been doing. Just reading the passage titled Christmas Day, it's not too long before that day comes around again, isn't it?

I've been too tired to read last week. I must try hard to finish this one methinks.

Some of these papers/stories are better than others, but I find them rather interesting from a period traveller's perspective.

Up to The Mutability of Literature, which sounds like a modern equivalent of a newspaper columnist ranting about books. I've read one about the state of libraries which was rather interesting, so I'm keeping an open mind about this.

Enjoyed reading Rip Van Winkle in its original context. Going through English Writers on America which feels like a newspaper column about the lack of English writers writing about the USA at the time - hopefully, more has been written about it now.

Well, that The Wife story was really good, and so was Roscoe for that matter. Onto Rip Van Winkle, one of the more famous stories, next.

Just through the story of Roscoe at the moment. I'm just going with the flow with these period pieces.

I do hope I finish this in time before I go on holiday at the end of the month. I would like to start a new book for that occasion.

I'm gradually going through this, chapter by chapter.

This is a rather pleasant read.

I'm finding it quite a breeze to read this, even though the major plot has just started at this stage.

This is quite a long chapter I'm on... but still worth reading on.

The action scenes are very well written throughout this part of the novel.

This is getting really good. I remember the film and recent TV series, so I have a vague idea of their storyline whilst reading this.

It's been good to actually read this novel, having grew up with countless adaptations of this story.

This is really good.
