Just like "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," I don't want to stop reading to see where these characters will go.

Grabbed this yesterday off the oncologist's book swap shelf after I finished my other book. Looking forward to reading a mystery from 1987--no cell phones, no internet...

Story lines are intertwining nicely. Still waiting for confirmation on my theory for the mystery, but that's all to the good.

Still enjoying it, still wanting to finish the tale...though I did catch myself skipping ahead last night to look for more maps--something I rarely do. I suppose there's gobs of symbolism in all the pharaonic history lessons, but, as usual, I'm not getting that layer. Dense, intriguing, currently a tad slow, but always wondering what's coming for the characters!

Still enjoying it, though the pharaonic history is getting a little dense. Have a hunch how one story line will evolve.

Already many characters and many different voices telling the tale. Intriguing.

Keep having to look up SEK>USD exchange rates to get a sense of the money being discussed. Also, the family tree at the front is missing names.
