Just a note on Tolkein's possible psychological reaction to the changes during his time:

Huh...okay I am slowly becoming drowsy. It was relaxing...but now I am just so drowsy. I get it Mr. Tolkein, you missed the good old days of English time before all the fancy schmancy industrialization period...but..hhh...how much longer will I keep reading the myriad descriptions of the road you are taking

Re-reading from the middle of where I left off. So...the strong characters in "The Hobbit" and the slightly more fast-paced events that take place makes this so much more well-written than Book #1 of LOTR. Book #0 I think I would re-read after finishing this, but I am not sure if I would continue with Book #1-4. Book #1 appear more as a romantic prose on nature, sth to read while having tea to relax

Back to page 95 of the Hobbit :x I just realized that I thought LOTR "Fellowship of the Rings" was also The Hobbit LMAO No wonder I was so confused when I read from the beginning and wondered, "Wait, when did this happen?"

It's gotten boring. Dragging. Too many details of unnecessary things from the last time I read the book. Hopefully it gets better because I want to see how it all comes together

*Sigh* I've been looking forward to reading this again but I feel like....it's dragging now, not too much but still. I don't feel invested in the story and just want to finish this book to see why I read all this stuff and how everything possibly comes together

I sometimes wonder how this author had such imagination, how it was possible to create such worlds in such depths

Please let exams be over SOON so I can FINALLY FINISH THIS! I haven't touched this since Uni and since finding this book again I JUST HATE THAT EXAMS AREN'T OVER YET. Thank you for listening to my TED Talk :"(
