The title is too closely related to An Elderly Lady is Up to No Good, which was actually about AN elderly lady, not a group of geriatrics. It also is a Swedish novel. I think b/c the titles are so similar, I was hoping for the writing or the stories to be similar, but they are not similar at all. Nor am I finding this a fun read. I want to give it a try, but 3 or 4 days into it and I'm not even 1/4 through...ugh.

why do people call LB a devil and treat him as dangerous? absolutely nothing to support. r's possible "madness" is such a silly side plot, why bother. i feel trapped in a loop. basically the same things keep happening over and over and the only mystery i can find is why i'm still reading.

The child kidnapping & torture is disgusting (much lk I felt watching Hunger Games) & as I'm only a qtr of the way through, I'm not sure I want to continue. Then there's T.J. - a char King spent the 1st 40 pgs on & then deserted - do I trust the author? Rding reviews TJ does come back. Will trudge on bc of curiosity about TJ.
