I love this book! It’s hard to put it down.

I listen to the audio on my daily walk; can’t turn it off when I get home! It makes me mad in books, when characters refuse to communicate what’s going on with them, creating mistaken assumptions, leading to unnecessary tragedy. In this book I find myself saying aloud to a character, “Just say the truth!” But they go about their lives in their own maddening silence. Will loose ends will be tied up by the end?

I saw the original play in Portland, Oregon. It was magnificent!

I love this dream-like book so much that I am purposefully and mindfully stretching out the reading of it. I don’t want it to end. I like to read a chapter at a time, in the middle of the night. It puts me in a mind-state for fantastical dreams.
