Oh Stephanie garber I’m so locked in it’s amazing ily

It’s been months since I cared about a book and less than 50 pages in and I’m HOOKED. Please don’t let that change 😭

So far my least favorite plot. Amazing potential at the start but hate that she end up doing this “small town romance” stuff. It would’ve been fun to see her stumble on her routine in her home setting instead of being a cliché fmc where everything she does is to spite or challenge somebody else. She makes a big point about how strong she is on her own but I haven’t seen her make a single decision for herself

Ugh I forgot how fun this book is

Fake dating, friends to lovers, forced proximity, revenge plot? This book has it all.

Read the first chapter before bed and so far I’m still into Emily Henry. Maybe next I’ll retry the one that had me write her off in the first place.

Finally an fmc who gets me. She’s mean grumpy and hates most men. Need more of her BAD. The banter between all the characters is so fun I’m actually just sitting here giggling at it. Need to sleep but… need more.

Ok I’m hooked. I am starting to understand the Emily Henry hype.

I have to stop and get ready for a birthday party but honestly how acceptable is it to read a book at the bar…

I am so invested in this book I feel like these women are my actual friends in real life it’s becoming unhealthy and no I will not be stopping

Enjoying this book more than I thought I would but I feel like it expands so much on the debate aspect that it doesn’t expand on the feelings that the characters are having for each other which isn’t ideal in a romance. But so far not bad once I sit down and start reading I’m pretty happy I decided to do so, just not so engrossed in it that I’m not immediately distracted.

What heavy stuff happening in what I thought was gonna be just a fun romance book. Not bad but some of it has aged very poorly just in the last two years

This is so much fun for a girl who loved the cruel prince series and sleeping beauty. Genuinely loving this so far

Oh I can’t WAIT for them to fall in love. Even though I knew what the twist situation was gonna be it was still so fun to read yay!

No wait because I’d fall in love with him in a weekend too…

Already figured out what this twist is gonna be so here’s to another 300 pages

I am not in love with the actual use of the phrase business casual in their conversations. They don’t even work together. It doesn’t make any sense??
