Do not like long stories but I must say, I’m entertained.

The audio narration is not good…lots of stumbling over words.

This is alllll tell. I know what anonymous means. But if I didn’t know: she wore glasses & a hat, no one would know it was her, she paid with cash, she didn’t see any cameras. Then she told him this & he repeated it back. Got it? Anonymous. It means no one knows who you are.

Okay, so apparently she does pronounce her name uh-LEEKS now that she’s rich but her name previously AL-licks and never Ah-LICKS.

The narrator has pronounced the name Alix two different ways so far. Initially uh-LICKS, and now uh-LEEKS. I find things like this distracting but I will roll with it as long as she sticks to one pronunciation. Isn’t it AH-licks? (Like Alex?)

I’m struggling. Very YA. The audio is painful & any book where the MC says “the real killer” feels cheesy.

9 hours down, 5 to go. At first I hated this, then I started to like it but now I’m feeling like 5 hours is a long time to go…

Christian might be the most annoying narrator of all time.

She actually just said “copy” as if she were a seven year old with a walkie-talkie. This is so cheesy and ridiculous.

I should DNF this. It’s terrible. But I feel like I’m at the point of no return.

Why does this book feel so YA to me?! I will give this a little more but overall I am finding the dialogue cringy and I'm tempted to walk away.
