Wendy is starting Crown of Dusk (The Crystal Crown Trilogy #2)
This book was stunning!. There are so many good things about this book; it is very unique and creative, plus there is a great sense of plot tension and wonderful complex characters! Megan has done it again. ! I am devastated I now have to wait for book 3. 💚 P.S. I lost a fair bit of sleep as I couldn’t put it down.

Wendy is starting Saltwater Cure: True stories of the transformative power of the ocean
I could have so easily added a chapter to this book as I feel like I am half mermaid.

Wendy is starting Lenny's Book of Everything
I can’t decide whether I like this book or not. It was beautifully written and certainly quite unique, but it was also quite sad and empty.

Wendy is starting How Did I Get Here?: Finding Your Way Back to God When Everything is Pulling You Away
Christine Caine’s honesty is always so refreshing. This is the sort of book you live in and ponder for a while.

Wendy is starting The Beekeeper of Aleppo
It is hard to say a book is wonderful when it describes the unfathomable loss of other human beings. The Beekeeper of Aleppo helps you walk in another person’s shoes, albeit briefly. I am thankful for books like this that help us understand the loss experienced by these people.

Wendy is starting The Reading List
Mixed feelings about this book. A lovely premise of how important books are to our lives but it was a bit slow at times.

Wendy is starting When We Were Young (The Baxter Family, #4)
If only you could see the future before making disastrous decisions.

It wasn’t my favourite Karen Kingsbury book but I do like a happy ending!

Wendy is starting The Lady's Mine
It grew on me especially as Francine Rivers developed the characters and looked at some important issues for women in the 1800’s.

Marvelous, but also incredibly sad and disturbing that children grow up in families like this!
