Move to January 3 star because although very good story indeed portraying hang ups, real character flaws and people not making the most of their present to ensure a better future. Many shallow habits, actions and thinking - true life. Still like to see some characters find that successful relationship and clarity in addition to all the other rubbish perhaps near all of us sink into or skirt around.

Finished - to add to 2021 2/3 stars. A little hard to follow. Ending recovered painting stolen by 2 cops early on but not the original Spencer had seen. Loose ends and things that did not add up. Like why steal in the first place. No mention about insurance, then some guy Murphy is traced taking supposedly original painting to the Middle East to a buyer. Museum lady knows it is fake - must be in on the whole thing.
