I'm so confused.

Like I missed something in-between book 1 and 2

I'm not crying, you're crying 😭

I'm finding excuses not to read...

The jumping POVs is really killing me.

Every time I get into the story it jumps from Aefe to Max/Tess (honestly her name doesn't even stick in my head) or vice versa. It really kills the momentum. I've been reading this book for what feels like FOREVER.

I'm interested in the story. Both story lines are great, which is kind of the problem. It's like reading Tower of Dawn after the ending of Empire of Storms. Jarring

The shifting POV's is distracting.

It's like reading 3 completely different books that have been mashed together.

It's taking me a lot longer to get through.

She named her vampire Lothaire, and didn't slip in "the enemy of old" to at least give a nod to where that name most likely came from 🙄

This book is circling.

I prefer third person omniscient to different POV that need to rehash everything from their own perspectives

This book is cyberpunk George Orwell 😳

There are a surprising number of editing errors in this book.

"Kingfisher" has got to rank top 3 stupidest character names.

The first book was 👌 this book is meh. I'm struggling

Meh. I'm starting to think I'm over Patricia Briggs. It's been a good run. I came in to the series around Silver Born. Her stories are starting to stink of fan service, maybe it's her publishers pushing her down these paths, who knows. It's unfortunate.

Paying for food and buying your house is stupid. Earth is so primitive, everything should be free.

Fhis book is very preachy.

Her books really drag sometimes. It kills the vibe.

I'm losing interest, which is annoying because I payed for books 2-4 in this series.

The first book was fantastic.

The rest get choppier as the series progresses.

It gave me the feels! I sprouted tears from my eyeballs!

All the recap and repetition is getting old.

The male narrator's voice reminds me of John Malcovich.

I'm enjoying the series, although Cas constantly saying he's unworthy is annoying AF. Cas constantly bringing up "Poppy's favourite book" is annoying AF, and kinda disrespectful.

He has an anal probe mating shaft 😂 😂 😂

Harper is a Mary-Sue.

Those 8 foot tall seasoned-veteran gladiator fighter aliens are so lucky to have this tiny human female to lead them, and fight equally as well as them, by their side. If it weren't for her solid leadership skills and strength that matches theirs, they'd surely die in combat.

Good thing that the average sized earthling female is so amazing that she can out-swordfight a seasoned alien gladiator who looks like an oversized muscled humanoid man 👍

His name is Raiden. He's an Alien gladiator.

If lines such as:
"Flawless Victory""
"Finish him"
"Fatality"
Aren't included, I will feel extremely let down 😂

So far there are way too many women. Every position on this space station is staffed by a female. There have been a couple of token males.

It's a little off-putting.

There are so many simple editing errors in this series, it's very disappointing. Sometimes it's also very confusing.
