I think this book will become my number one recommendation for friends for quite a while. It's hard to stay away from these pages with so much holiday stuff to get done.

We are listening to the audio version as we take little roadtrips. We will finish this book this week as we travel to Clearwater for a Kenny Loggins concert. We wish we could find some 'little old people' to join in their adventures.

It's going to take a bit to get through these pages if there isn't better character development quickly.

So far, a slow read, but enticing enough to continue. Honey is facing many challenges.

I finished this book, but there were so many times I wanted to put it down and walk away. Regardless of the author's attempt at authenticity, I was dismayed with the racial slurs used. They didn't seem necessary for this story, and only caused a disappointment for this reader. I will think twice before purchasing another book by this author. This story could have been told in a memorable way.
