And she does not learn from her mistakes. Shocking.

Well I personally can’t wait for the viceroy and the empress to meet once the wall comes down. Maybe they will combine both their evils and rule together or maybe just destroy everything.

“I’ve been called many things before, but never and idiot”. You’re an idiot. There. Booksmart idiot.

….evil viceroy. Wall come down. Magic and evil viceroy cross to human world and enslave it. Does the supposedly smart protagonist think about that? No.

Is this book written for people with a short attention span? The author keeps repeating the same things over and over again

How does she not get the that the dreams are not dreams?!?!

How does she not get her dreams are premonitions….

Of course her short sighted stupidity comes to haunt her - booksmart idiot who lacks common sense complacency

I think I’m becoming too old for these novels - the idiocy of Violet is exhausting. Will she ever learn to learn from her mistakes?

This really is a book on how people who think they are smart are really incapable of thinking rationally….especially if they are hormonal teenagers.

…when one thinks the female lead cannot get any more stupid…she jumps in her stupidity.

….is the lead character really that stupid or is the plot really stupid? I can’t figure it out…

Why are they so stupid?!? Her grandma and her will be killed anyway..

Spoilers….but she is the daughter of Billy and Evelyn right? Evelyn most likely died and he could not handle being a single parent and gave her to his sister to raise?
