It wrapped up too nicely but it was okay for a Christmas read. I thought it was strange to have the first half of the book be solely about one character and then switch it to another character in the last half. It seemed strange.

If I took a shot for every time she said Lucas’s full name, I’d need my stomach pumped by now. It is such a strange full name too. Stop saying it.

Also, there has been some weird transitions. How did they get from here to there?

No concern of going down on him in a semi-public place? No nervousness whatsoever for the first encounter? Did she get a release? That part was weird.

Love that Olive is making an appearance. Nervous for the steamy scenes because Hazelwood tends to write awkward encounters. Love her romance and chemistry just waiting to see how she does, if it gets explicit.

This is hella boring so far. Is it every chapter a new customer? I can see why these Christmas things make better movies.

I hope it gets better. I’m also going into this totally blind so I don’t even know what this book is about. Romance? Family second chance? No idea. Just Christmas.

So far this book isn’t pulling me in. The world building is t really building as much as it is throwing me right in like I know what it is taking about. I hope it makes sense soon. Maybe I missed a glossary or something for this.

Holy smokes. This one is fire! A steamy scene like I’ve never read before and I loved it!

I got about 2 more pages in from my last update and the girls age changed from 4 to 2. Had to scroll back to make sure I wasn’t crazy. Yea she was 4 and now she is 2. Great editing here.

32% of the way in and this story is so damn cheesy, I’m positive it is a script for a porn.
There are several grammatical errors where a sentence isn’t capitalized and that is bugging me.
The child is 4 yet they portray her like she is 18-24 months, so that is also driving me crazy.

I’m at 29% and this book is freaking insane. How it is this intense already? I’m sweating and need a break from the intensity of this book. How do they come back from this? Also, what revenge could he enact at this point? Yikes.

OMG! This book is freaking amazing. Cheyenne is crazy and I love Cut. It was so hard to put this book down knowing I needed to get sleep and work the next day which means almost 18 agonizing hours before I can pick this book back up. OMG. Just so freaking good and caught me off guard. So different from other Tijan books.
