This book isn’t giving what I want. It has all the ingredients for a good story but I am having a hard time getting into it.

I am intrigued and confused. I am a fan of the romance. I have too many questions and not enough answers. Why is Gild so different. Why is the king so evil. I’m assuming serilda’s dad is dead but is her mom? We all think her story’s are true right???? Like I’m not making that up… the stories she tells are so similar to what’s going on in life… but the book isn’t answering the questions fast enough!
