I’ve been meaning to read this since 2016 (ironically) and as we commemorate the anniversary of Martial Law this week, I’ve tried reading the first few paragraphs as found a pdf copy free of charge in the ADMU Library (http://rizalls.lib.admu.edu.ph:8080/e...). A few paragraphs in, and I’m already kind of angry.

I just started reading a book of essays this year. This is my second collection. It speaks volumes.

I know, I should’ve read this a long time ago, but I was preoccupied with other fantasy children or YA stories (Harry Potter, Eragon, Inkheart and yes Twilight lol) and thanks to them, I had to try reading the OG (or Beowulf and other mythologies is the OG?). So far, I like it! I relate to Bilbo haha

I have this feeling that this is going to be a rollercoaster ride.

The first story got me hooked immediately! I love how peculiar it is.
