I'm rereading this because I could use some comfort. It's such a gentle and lovely book and I love how Ratty and Mole love each other.
Somehow, I never read this as a child but I don't think I could have appreciated then how beautifully this book portrays friendship.

I also kind of love how Kenneth Graham managed to hide a gay couple in plain sight.

How was Kumori able to get into Murphy's house without being invited? Harry made a big deal to Butters about how he would be safe at Murphy's bc of the protective power of a true home's Threshold.

Also for a guy who destroys all technological gadgets with his mere magical presence, Harry sure does have a lot of pop culture references. How does he know so much about movies if he would have fried projectors, TVs etc?
