This book is one of the most compulsive reads I’ve encountered in recent years. It gives a factual but enthralling account of how Steve Jobs went from an amateur working in a garage with his friend and technical wizard Woz to be the CEO of the most powerful computer company ever known. It then follows some pretty dramatic events which I won’t define as they are definitely spoilers.

It’s an usual but very enlightening book about the life of Geisha girls. Many people believe they know the purpose of a Geisha but it’s rather more complicated. I’m loving it so far.

A very interesting book rather different from what I initially expected. Nevertheless it’s just as interesting and I’ll definitely finish reading it

Not easy going so far and not a patch on “Brickin it” but I’ll persist and see how it goes.

Absolutely hilarious book recommended to me by a work colleague. The book covers the renovation of a cottage by a brother & sister and chapters alternate between the two of them showing their different perspectives. It’s one of the most compulsive reads I’ve ever had.

Fantastic reading bringing back many memories from my childhood. A must read item for anyone that was around during that era and wishing to recall previous days.

Very detailed descriptions of how a young girl is abused by various family members and how she coped on a day to day basis. Terrible to think that this sort of thing happened more commonly in the past but thankfully has been reduced by careful monitoring in schools and by social services.

It’s a great book to read at bedtime when you need to smile, relax and take things easy. If you don’t take it too seriously then you’ll love every minute of it.
She’s a fun girl and a lot more intelligent than many people give her credit for. Give it a chance and you’ll enjoy it.

Needs a great deal of concentration and the desire to understand complex mathematical concepts but interesting to see how Alan Turing grapples with his homosexuality and life's problems.
