I wanted to love this and eagerly awaited release day. Now I can't seem to get through it! Interesting premise, but poor writing (so far).

Excited to dive into this childhood classic!

This biography is mostly a biography of Cains writing process and is roughly organized chronologically by novel. Since I’ve only read a couple of them, I’m afraid it’s going to spoil the remaining ones! I may have to put this down for a while, at least until I have read the more famous of his works.
