Still a bit hard to follow but it gets better when you get about 1/3 of the way through this book. It would have been better as a two book series that could have spent longer on world building to aid in the understanding of the book and magic system

Listening to this via audiobook, and its a lot. It feels like it jumps right into the story, but its hard to follow along with character names and terminology thats being used. It almost feels like there should be a book before this one that includes more world building. Hopefully it gets better soon and easier to follow.

This book is decent but im about 1/3 done and it feels like I'm missing pieces of the story. Some information is being added and almost seems like fluff to make the story longer but doesnt improve the storyline
