This book... came out of nowhere. It's just so good. Good lore. Good characters. Depth and angst. I can't wait for Kris's story!

Had to go for a re-read after reading Epic.

Sigh. Usually, the title alone would have me skipping this one. I saw a review, though, and I'm going to give it a shot.

This whole idea of me reading the random stuff in my library is a mixed bag. Let's see how this goes.

This book is skirting an EXTREMELY thin line for me right now. For instance, the female MC is ALONE on a BOAT with the male MC and had the audacity to be unnerved when he hands her some pills (for nausea). Two unmarked pills. No bottle. No box. He gets pissed, puts on an intimidating look, and DEMANDS that she tell him she understands he would never hurt a woman.
WHY? Because you said so?! What a fantastic guy.

Taken me a long time to come back to these authors. Pulled to publish fanfic turns me off on people for years, it seems. But I enjoyed their fanfic, so let's check this out.

Mom couldn't stand the narrator of the book I'd been listening to so I put this on. Now I have to finish it. Again. :D
