I really shouldn't be this bored at the climax...

Bored. Not loving the main character.

Loved the first half... really struggling in the last 100 pages which is really disappointing!

Jeez this book is too lonb. Can't wait until something actually happens!

I dont know why my local bookstore had these out early.... but I'm not complaining!

Not loving this. Not enough world building. The romance is rushed. It isn't generally a terrible concept, but I think it wasn't as well executed as many are saying. I'll push through and finish soon, but boy is it a struggle.

Struggling. Somewhere around 50% things started to get rather boring...

Slow going in the beginning... I'm still hoping it will pick up, but to be honest the only reason I'm pushing through is because it's Naomi Novik.

Not really digging this. Monty's voice is very modern and he is rather insufferable. Oh how terrible to be sent on an expenses-paid trip through Europe and be forced to see the culture instead of drinking and whoring about. Probably an accurate description of a teenager's mindset, but I think I might just be too old for it.

This book could use a good editor. Misspelled words abound and characters randomly appear where they should not be. Did Beth Byers not have anyone even beta read this before she published it?
