This seems like a series of vignettes to me, jumping forward in time by small increments. We don't see far into the characters themselves or the relationships between them. While I'm interested in seeing what happens next, I'm not as absorbed. as I could be.

I just DNF'ed this book at 85%, a new record! 600 pages was all I could take! NOT ANOTHER WORD
