I enjoyed the storytelling style, but this was a much slower burn than expected. I love a slow burn, but this one just wasn't giving me flavour to keep me invested.

I picked this one up after having it sitting on my shelf for a decade, thinking it was finally time to give it a go. I think it was destined to remain a shelf resident. Not a bad book by any means, just not the right book for me.
