So this is the lowest rated book on goodreads so far in the series? How does that make sense? Idk about you guys but JLA is really selling me on this crack

Slow but kinda into it

In true JLA fashion, there is a big dramatic scene at the beginning of the book that makes me want to die

Last book with my favourite FMC 😭

I’ve never had a book pull this many emotions out of me at once love, hate, devastation, anger, happiness. I genuinely feel emotionally drained in the best way possible. The storytelling around the villain is so layered and complicated, and as someone who has always found the villain more interesting than the hero in movies and shows, I am absolutely eating this up.

How could something be this good???

I’ll tell you something, I don’t need a long intricate story when I have an amazing FMC. While n nothing is really happening rn, I am sick for this Yin queen.

This is a strange book to be quite honest. A lot of repetitive things even within 2 pages of each other. Technically the whole book is a repetition of a story but we are literally using the same sentence on pages back to back

My fear of dnf-ing books is really getting to me with this one

How many times is she gonna make us relive From Blood and Ash like this 😭 we did FBAA, we did A Soul of Ash and Blood, and now we’re… back in book one again?? Girly, I know this story by heart at this point
