The book is more of a series of vignettes from the author’s life and small sections of things that vaguely relate to one another. The pace is very sporadic like a friend you haven’t seen in a while telling you what is going on in their life. I’d be damned if I said I wasn’t enjoying this.

This book is dense but it’s a great way to stay in shape. (Music theory wise)

The story is unremarkable but incredibly beautiful. So far there is little story save for the interactions our narrator has with the people they meet in the inexhaustible amount of free time they have.

Hearing Laura speak after seeing her on her coming out tour is enlightening to what it means to be trans and punk.

This book is like having coffee with a very admirable friend who loves to tell stories about the people they know. The stories allow the listeners to sit in silence and hang on to every word.
