Overfishing has always been an area of scientific interest to me. I loved learning about Palau’s strategy.

Reading about the makings of The Blue Planet, the beginning of ocean warriors, and the consequent ban on whaling is so interesting from a first hand account.

The idea of Sir David Attenborough trekking through wilderness and cutting down the trees in front of him himself is quite funny to me. I know he had help, but never thought he would have helped out with that - not sure why.

This is the first David Attenborough book I’ve read. He has such a lovely way of writing that makes me want to read aloud in an English accent.

Lukas Blomqvist is my new fave MMC. No one else compares. I think he’s been gatekept because how is no one talking about him.

Just had a good healthy cry… I rarely cry over books and I’m only halfway. Oh dear.

Tahereh Mafi has done it again - beautiful writing, and a slow burn enemies to lovers (I am assuming they will become lovers hahaha)
