i'm so close to finishing this book but i'm also so close to hurling myself off this building and be shattered into a bloody splurge of mess and bones. because that is how reading this book is making me feel like.

i cant do this. if i finish this book then it means i have to read about him dying again no i can’t i’ll have another mental breakdown

so far, this book is a complete drag to get through. why is everyone an asshole. why is it all so obnoxiously pretentious. why am i rolling my eyes so much at a book that fits the description of what i know i’d like. please tell me it gets better, i don’t wanna dnf this but i think it’s gonna happen ._.

There’s a reason why this book has such raving reviews. Genuinely the most helpful, relevant and insightful book about anti-racism. I’m so glad that I managed to stumble upon this.
