This book began with altogether too much dithering around at the University for my liking, but now that we’re up and (literally) running again I’m feeling much more optimistic.

This escape with Creosote is the most fun I’ve had with the book so far

Part one was very fun and enjoyable indeed!

Okay finally something is happening! I really struggle with visualising most of the descriptions of places and buildings, and the paragraphs of Maskelle lore-dumping to Rian about concepts that still don’t fully click for me are rough to get through. I’m really clinging to the scenes of action and reaction to pull me through this.

Apparently this properly gets going at around 50/60 percent. I hope I can hang on until then, because this isn’t really working for me.
