Govind is 65% done with Blood and Oil: Mohammed bin Salman's Ruthless Quest for Global Power
The writing being quite polished, keeps you turning the pages, but narrative arc is a little lacking of the broader Middle East context Saudi Arabia breathes in - esp the socio-religious conflicts & western interferences for economic interests. Otherwise great in its limited scope of delving into life of MBS !

thoroughly engaging in with case examples and sharply writing by DYC. For someone like me who’s v ignorant about legal doctrines and constitutional philosophies, couldn’t have asked for better introduction.

it’s equal parts witty, humorous and philosophical take on the listlessness of not belonging anywhere. The unmoored identity faced by both Sunny and Sonia becomes a vehicle for Desai to harp on a broad fungible commentary of migration, aspirations, class and worth

this brought back memories of reading a suitable boy, a quintessentially relatable writing , with such calibrated zoom into lyrical delving of emotions - loving every bit until now!

I had forgotten how lyrically beautiful and tenderly relatable Jhumpa Lahiri’s prose is !

Hers was the first novel I ever read. Just into high-school I’d gotten a cheap paperback from one of the roadside vendors in Kolkata’s College Street. I didn’t realise it’s a pirated copy, too overjoyed at gotten something in under 100 rupees. With its flaky dull pages and non-aligned lines, began my reading journey.
