The hype around this book and Virginia Andrews is baffling to me. Wanted to check out some Gothic horror during a peak reading streak and instead I have a book I have not been able to read 5% in last 20 or so days. Why am I still trying to finish this? Coz Momma didn't raise a quitter. Also it does help me doze off in just a couple of pages - no matter what time of the day it is. Sleep is important.
