Chapter 23

I find this book very hard to stomach. Despite all the glamor of Britney Spears, her life is just one tragedy after another. Just the first few chapters alone showed how screwed up her life would become.

Makes you sorry for all she suffered while the world mocked her.

As I'll working in a large technology company, this book isn't offering anything in terms of new shocks. Good thing is that most companies don't know what to do with the data captured but at the same time they don't know how to protect it a la Facebook. GDPR is a move in the right direction to protect our privacy.

Not feeling it. Reads like your typical dystopian YA that will sell (is sold, after I googled) to a movie studio.

This is turning out to be my slowest read in a few years.

Really enjoying this so far.

Not a good choice for my first Warhammer novel. There's no context to the battles. Character and clothing descriptions are overly detailed. I want to read about Nagash's rise to power, damnit.

I still don't find void battles interesting.

Imperator Titan, awesome.

Confused about the setting of this book. Has a European feel but why do they celebrate thanksgiving?

Really? The Space Marines enter the Hive Ship through the arse!?

There are more players in book 2 and sometimes I get lost as to who is on which side.

The first book ended a bit abruptly.

Off to a great start, fast and gripping

Didn't see that coming.

Xarl, the strongest of them, should be the last to die, not the first. Dismembered,reduced to hunks of armour-wrapped meat, his death is neither quick nor painless,and offers only a shadow of the glory he so craved.

Dunno if it's just me but finding this book hard to get into.

I understand why people dislike this book but I appreciate that the author is doing something different.
