So far I think the original movie is scarier and better said. It could be due to the actor Fred Gwynne. Some of the words were used in a much better context in the movie although the same words of the book but said by other characters. I am still reading...

My opinion may change but I at this point the book is way less scary than the original movie.

I remember this movie from the 80's/90's. I was so creepy good that I cant wait to read this one!
