Reading this because my son recommended it. We both loved the Scythe books so hopefully will like this too.

Didn’t see that coming

Kinda how I felt about March Madness 2020.

This is 36 short stories over 800 pages. I’ve been skipping around in it. Some are better than others, but nothing I’ve disliked yet.

This is shaping up to be another “why did I wait so long to read this” book.

Somehow I was first on the hold line :)

This book is not without its flaws. Some places you can tell it was written in 1978. But it’s still a great read. I’ll probably reread again in a couple years.

Is this book longer than it needs to be? Probably. Is it worth the reread? Absolutely.

The setting up the government part drags

Book one is still some of the best apocalyptic fiction I’ve read.

Ok, the story of he and Meghan meeting sounds sweet.

The first two parts were a log but the third is really keeping my interest.
