This book stresses me out so bad

I'm only four chapters in but I already love Reagan.

Every chapter I read is like a punch in the gut.

I've been reading this book since February--it is very slow going.

The writing is so pretty, and yet I am SO frustrated with the characters.

My copy is actually titled The Mousetrap, though it does make note that the original title is Three Blind Mice and Other Stories. My copy is from 1949.

There is a lot of talking about science but not a lot of plot. We shall see how it goes.

This book feels really slow to read. But not boring. Just, like, the percentage on my ebook reader moves reaaaalllllyyyy slowly.

I've been so excited for this book! I really enjoyed the author's first book, and I love the idea.

This is a strange, strange book.

I am tickled that the main character's name is Eilidh, but mystified why no one (in Scotland) seems to have heard the name before. It's a top 100 name in Scotland.
